Welcome to The Old Vicarage, Somerset

The Old Vicarage is a medieval house with a Georgian makeover set in half an acre of gardens in the centre of the pretty estate village of Kilmersdon in Somerset. Our aim is to provide a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

The house sits at the bottom of the Jack and Jill Hill in Kilmersdon, Somerset. We are centrally positioned near Wells, Mells, Frome, Bath and Bristol - ideal for day excursions. We are on the Colliers Way cycle route no. 24)

There are several notable National Trust properties in this area: Lytes CaryMontecute House and Stourhead to name but a few. Longleat is also nearby.

The village has a marvelous pub, the Jolliffe Arms, which serves vast portions of delicious pub food. Nearby in Frome there's a newly opened bar and restaurant called Archangel, with fabulous food and atmosphere. The bell inn in Buckland Dinham and the Talbot Inn in Mells also provide good beer and meals.

The private members hotel, Babington House, is two miles away and within walking distance from the Old Vicarage through the Babington woods.
